In this guide
Kaieteur Falls is Guyana's flagship attraction — a single 226-metre plunge of the Potaro River through dense rainforest. There's no road in. The only practical ways to see it are a charter day flight from Georgetown (Ogle airport), an overland-and-fly trek, or — rarely — a multi-day expedition.
This page lists the verified 2026 USD price of every Kaieteur tour we could pin to an operator's own website on May 28, 2026. Aggregator prices are excluded — they often quote stale or partner-marked-up rates.
Day-tour prices, every operator
All Kaieteur day tours depart from Eugene F. Correia International Airport (Ogle), not CJIA. Plan to be at Ogle around 90 minutes before departure.
| Operator | Price USD pp | Duration | Schedule | What's included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Air Services Limited (ASL) | $270 | ~6 hrs (2 hrs at falls) | Every Saturday & Sunday | Round-trip flight, park pass, snack & beverage, guided viewpoints (Johnson's, Boy Scout, Rainbow). No lunch. Source: aslgy.com/tours/kaieteur |
| Evergreen Adventures | $350 | 5 hrs | Weekends only, min 12 pax | Return flight, park pass, guide, snack & water. No lunch, no hotel pickup. Source: evergreenadventuresgy.com |
| Dagron Tours | $350 | ~4 hrs (2 hrs on ground) | Fri/Sat/Sun, min 9 pax | Return flight, park entry, guide, boxed lunch or meal at Kaieteur Guesthouse included, bottled water. Source: dagron-tours.com |
| Wilderness Explorers | $360 + $20 transfer | 6 hrs (max 12 pax) | On request | Round-trip flight, snacks & water, park fee, guide, VAT. Airport transfer extra US$20. Source: wilderness-explorers.com |
| Trans Guyana Airways | Not published | ~4.5 hrs (1 hr flight + 1.5 hr tour + return) | On request | Soft beverages, trained guide, park fees. No lunch. Operates flights for Evergreen Adventures. Source: transguyana.net — call for quote |
What's actually included vs. extra
This is the most misunderstood part of Kaieteur tour pricing. Only Dagron Tours explicitly includes lunch. Every other operator includes snacks/beverages but not a meal. Plan for either:
- Eating before departure (Ogle has a café in the departure lounge),
- Bringing your own packed lunch,
- Or paying extra at the Kaieteur Guesthouse on the plateau (cash, small menu).
Park entry (the "Kaieteur Pass") is included in every quoted day-tour price. You do not pay it separately on arrival.
Overland trek option (cheaper, much harder)
If you have 4–5 days and want to earn the view, two operators run the overland-and-fly trek. The classic route: Georgetown → Linden → Mahdia → Pamela Landing → boat up the Potaro River → Tukeit camp → climb the "Oh My God" mountain to the Kaieteur plateau → fly out from Kaieteur airstrip.
| Operator | Price USD pp | Duration | Min group |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adventure Guianas | $795 | 4–5 days | 2 pax adventureguianas.com |
| Dagron Tours | From $1,395 | 5 days / 4 nights | 3 pax (private group) dagron-tours.com |
Both include transport, meals, guides, and the return flight from Kaieteur airstrip. Dagron is the private-group premium option; Adventure Guianas is the budget-conscious choice.
Kaieteur National Park entry fee
The Kaieteur Pass is G$3,000 (~US$14.35) per person, per ASL's published breakdown ("Kaieteur Pass — G$3,000 value — included in this price"). This figure is operator-cited; we did not find a current 2026 fee schedule on pac.gov.gy. If you're booking independently, confirm directly with the Protected Areas Commission at +592 227 2265 or info@pac.gov.gy.
Which operator should you choose?
Lowest price → ASL ($270)
Air Services Limited has the most scheduled departures (every weekend) and the lowest verified price. You give up the lunch and pay extra for hotel pickup, but you save US$80–110 vs. the next operator.
Best value with lunch → Dagron ($350)
Dagron is the only operator who explicitly includes a real meal (boxed lunch or Kaieteur Guesthouse). For US$80 more than ASL you skip the on-plateau food hassle.
Smaller groups → Wilderness Explorers ($360 + $20)
Max 12 pax keeps the experience intimate. The most comprehensive guide commentary across the spectrum, with the trade-off of a higher total cost.
Earn-it option → Overland from $795
Five days, jungle camps, river boats, the "Oh My God" climb. Unforgettable but only suits travellers physically and mentally ready for it.

Kaieteur vs Angel Falls →How we verified these prices
Every USD price on this page was pulled directly from the operator's own website on May 28, 2026. We do not source pricing from TripAdvisor, Viator, GetYourGuide, or other aggregators — they cache stale rates and apply commission markups that aren't operator-attributable. Where an operator does not publish a public price (e.g., Trans Guyana Airways, Roraima Airways), we say so and link to their contact, rather than guess.
If a price has changed since publication, email us with the new operator URL and we'll re-verify within 48 hours.
