800+ species including 17 Guiana Shield endemics — a birder's dream
Guyana offers the best access to Guiana Shield endemics — species shared only with Venezuela, Suriname, and French Guiana. With 80% of the country covered in pristine rainforest and less tourist pressure than other South American destinations, your chances of spotting target species are exceptional.
